The following schedule is for the Museum Marketplace (formerly the Flea Market) and the Arts & Crafts Faire only, other museum events are not shown.  All dates fall on the LAST Saturday of each month.

*Carpinteria Museum Marketplace hours are from 8 am to 3PM (set-up 6:00 am to 8:00 am).  Space rental fee is $30 for an approximately 12 X 10 ft. space.  Reservations may be made in person at the museum or by phone: (805) 684-3112, or email david@carpinteriahistoricalmuseum.org up to one month prior to the event. For reservations greater than one month in advance, your name may be placed on the waiting list at any time; reservations are then made based on priority and space availability.

*Holiday Arts & Crafts Faire space rental is $100 for a 10 X 10 or $125 for a 15 X 10 space. 

Vendors may ONLY sell their OWN hand-crafted art and gifts.  NO imports, buy/sell or commercial.

Faire hours are from 10 am to 3 pm.  Set-up is from 7:00 to 9:30 am
Applications are mailed the first week of August.  A 2016 application will be uploaded to this web page in August.

There are no changes from the 2016 application except for the price increase.

Applications are not accepted prior to August, 2017.

To receive an application by mail, we will add your name to the mailing list at any time; requests may be made by phone, letter, or e-mail.

**PRE-PAYMENT is required to ensure space reservation for all events! Cash, check, or money order accepted; sorry, no debit or credit card payment can be accepted at this time. Check is payable to Carpinteria Valley Historical Society, or C.V.H.S. Mail payment to:

Carpinteria Valley Museum, 956 Maple Ave. Carpinteria CA 93013.

 

 

**CANCELLATION of space after one week prior to the event forfeits payment unless space is filled. 
A $10 administrative fee will be charged for all Museum Marketplace cancellations.  

A minimum $25 fee is charged for Holiday Faire cancellation; any cancellations within two weeks of the show are non-refundable.

We are sorry, but there are no refunds for event cancellation due to rain.

 

**VENDORS are expected to arrive within the set-up period and stay for the entire duration of each event. 
You must leave your space free of litter after each show.   You also are required to take all empty boxes, wrapping paper, etc., with you as our dumpster cannot begin to accommodate the trash generated by 60 to 100 vendors.  Thank you!
